C.R. Laurence selects DFI technology for Los Angeles Headquarters
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, June 2003-
Diamon Fusion® International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive
supplier of the Diamon Fusion® patented hydrophobic technology, was recently
selected by C.R. Laurence Company to provide their highly efficient coating
system to CRL's headquarters expansion project. The project has been completed with
the application of DFI's enhanced hydrophobic coating
at CRL's newly renovated corporate headquarter buildings at Los Angeles, California.
Five large panels of _" etched glass were used as a focal point in this expansion
project and required a protective treatment to prevent staining.
Jim Audette, long time Assistant to CRL's President, reported: "Due to
the nature of this project, we required the highest performance hydrophobic coating
available in the market place to assure that fingerprints will not appear on the
heavy sandblasted glass installed at our newly renovated facilities. Many of our
best customers have been licensees of DFI for several years now and on their recommendation,
we used it."
Danny Donahue, Manager of CRL's Technical Sales Department-Shower Division,
added: "The fact that the coloring of the sandblasting was not compromised by
the Diamon Fusion® process, was a key element in choosing Diamon Fusion® since our
goal was to maintain the sandblasted look of the glass in its natural form. DFI's
coating was quite successful in taking care of our needs".
