A pioneer in the industry, DFI's visionary technology took central stage in 1996 when its unique chemical vapor process was named "Innovative Product of the Year" by the prestigious Kitchen and Bath Business magazine.

In 1997, DFI forms its new legal entity as a U.S. Corporation (State of California), establishing itself as a global developer and exclusive supplier of all intellectual property and equipment relating to Diamon Fusion® Technology. Adam Zax, President and CEO, is also DFI's Founder and Co-Inventor, and along with Guillermo Seta, Corporate Vice President Executive Director of  DFI Global Operations,  lead DFI's Executive Team.

In the year 2000, DFI was issued a patent by The United States Patent and Trademark Office, an Agency of the US Dept. of Commerce. The issuance of the patent truly reflects Diamon Fusion®'s unique properties and clearly sets DFI apart from any other surface-protective coating. This milestone in DFI's history is only the beginning of many new developments to come, currently under way, which will further enhance DFI's innovative and visionary technology.
